When reversing, the 4 rear backup sensors that are installed on the back bumper
send ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles behind the vehicle. The controller
receives the signal and transmits it to the speaker that is installed under the driver's seat
(Camera based systems transmit a video feed the display unit as well as the audible information to the speaker).
The parking sensor emits a long intermittent beep at 4-6 feet (depending on the model),
and as the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle, the beep increases in frequency. When the vehicle is
1 foot away, the sound is continuous. The power for the Reverse Backup sensor is supplied
