For Ford Powerstroke Diesels, BD offers a great replacement performance turbo for the 1999.5 - 2002 models-- The Garrett turbo was designed for the 7.3 Power Stroke application and has very quick response time for its size, plus it flows 33% more air for more power and super cool EGT's. In fact, pre-turbo EGT is typically below 1200F on an otherwise stock engine with a fuel-enrichment programmer in place.
For Chevy Duramax 2001-2005 engines, the SuperMax Turbo is best in it's class, engineered by BD and built to exacting specifications by BorgWarner Turbo Systems' AirWerks program, the Super Max creates enough airflow for up to 550-rwhp at 45 pounds of boost on diesel only (up to 675 rwhp with a shot of nitrous!). The high power enthusiast can easily overpower their stock transmission with power and rpm, and this challenges the transmission's clutch packs. The only transmission that can boast about being a full roller bearing design is the BD. Stock and other transmission rebuilders use thrust washers. This results in soft metal floating around your transmission and then eventually settles to the bottom of the pan. This metal plugs up oil pressure ports, excessive thrust bearing wear and short life. BD eliminates clutch slippage, reduces operating temperatures and increases the transmission life by adding 25% more clutch surface than the stock design. Only the best quality clutch material is used and heavy-duty band apply struts are installed. New electronic solenoids are tested and valve body control functions are set and tested.

Don't Lose Your Cool. Gain it--with the new Cool-It Intercooler from BD. 500-degrees Fahrenheit... That's enough heat to cook a five-pound chicken in 45 minutes. It's also the temperature of the air going into your stock intercooler. Compressed air is heated air and when you combine an aggressive fuel curve with elevated boost levels, that can lead to convection oven levels of inlet temperature. That's why BD developed the new Cool-It intercooler. With 57% more cooling surface area and a 33% thicker core, the Cool-It increases cooling effectivness to approximately 90%. That can mean a temperature reduction of up to 200-degrees Fahrenheit over the stock intercooler. At the same time, the 36% larger inlet and discharge tubes can handle up to 90 psi of boost and over 1500 cfm, while holding pressure drop to less than 1 psi.
